Appointed to BDSA South India States Committee
Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi (BDSA) Warangal district president M Jitendra has been appointed as the organising secretary for the BDSA South India States Committee. He was appointed for the post by the akademi national president Dr SP Sumanakshar and handed over the letter of appointment during the 21st Dalit Writers Conference held in Rajasthan recently.
Warangal: Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi (BDSA) Warangal district president M Jitendra has been appointed as the organising secretary for the BDSA South India States Committee. He was appointed for the post by the akademi national president Dr SP Sumanakshar and handed over the letter of appointment during the 21st Dalit Writers Conference held in Rajasthan recently.
In the letter of appointment, the akademi national president has appreciated the performance and keen interest of Jitendra in the uplift of downtrodden sections as the district president and asked him to keep up the work in accordance of the constitution of the BDSA.
Jitendra responding on the appointment to the post thanked the national president Sumanakshar and national general secretary and promised to continue his work for the benefit of the downtrodden. The akademi district general secretary M Lakshminarayana, treasurer Venu Prasad, vice president Kranti, members Chander Rao, Murali Prasad and others congratulated Jitendra over the appointment.
