After a gap of five years, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarter has revived the flying training activity for the air wing cadets of Warangal.

Warangal: After a gap of five years, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarter has revived the flying training activity for the air wing cadets of Warangal.

It was made possible with the efforts made by the Deputy Director General of NCC AP and Telangana Directorate Air Commodore P Maheshwar towards commencement of air training at Warangal and expanding the NCC not only in the urban but in rural areas as well.

As part of the revival of the flying training for NCC cadets here, a ‘Zen Air CH-701’ two-seater micro-light aircraft has landed at Mamnoor airfield in Warangal on Tuesday after being flown in from Nadirgul Airfield in Hyderabad. Flying schedule for the next few weeks was planned to train the cadets.

The cadets would be given intense ground training opportunity consisting of subjects like engine, avionics, airframe, checks and procedures, the officials of Warangal Group NCC 4(T) Air Squadron said.
