DPRC will strengthen PR system
District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC) will be highly useful for strengthening the Panchayat Raj system, observed Finance Minister Eatala Rajender.
Karimnagar: District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC) will be highly useful for strengthening the Panchayat Raj system, observed Finance Minister Eatala Rajender.
He laid foundation stone for the construction of DPRC at a cost of Rs 2 crores at Zilla Parishad quarters in Karimnagar on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said an auditorium will be constructed in the DPRC building for giving training to as many as 200 persons at a time, which will be highly useful to the officials and peoples’ representatives for strengthening the Panchayat Raj system.
The DPRC will be highly useful for giving training in Public participation, accountability, transparency, for strengthening and conducting of village meetings and to implement various types of action plans in e-Panchayats, informed the Minister.
Rajender ordered the officials of concerned departments to construct the building without compromising the quality.
Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma, Manthani MLA Putta Madhu, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Padmajarani, Panchayat Raj Superintending Engineer Ravi Prakash, Executive Engineer Mruthyunjayam, ZPTCs and MPPs were present along with others.
