Warangal: The city Congress leaders have taken exception to the comments made by the district TRS leaders against the TPCC working president, Bhatti Vikramarka.

The TRS leadership, which encouraged political migrations from different parties offering posts and developmental funds to MLAs, has failed to develop the constituencies of respective leaders, alleged the city Congress working president Rajanala Srihari.

Speaking at a meeting of senior party workers in Warangal on Thursday, he found fault with the TRS district president T Ravinder Rao’s mockery at the claims made by the TPCC leader, who said that some ministers and MLAs of ruling party were in touch with Congress.

The TRS if confident of public support, it should ask MLAs like DS Redya Naik of Dornakal and others to quit the posts and go for by-elections. The public of Naik’s constituency was vexed up with the ruling party as it failed to ensure development and the same was the case with several others.

Very few MLAs, who joined the TRS from Opposition parties, were given posts while the others were kept on waiting list. And that has been causing severe unrest among those MLAs and it would burst forth sooner or later, Srihari pointed out.

Likewise, the TRS leadership has also neglected those really fought for the cause of Telangana and made great sacrifices. The leadership failed to deliver its election promises, and its ruling was marked by corruption, commissions and amassing of wealth by the TRS leaders.

Everyone in the State was aware of corruption in Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya, he alleged.Congress has not lost its mass base in the State and the country. The public were still patronising the party in Telangana and it would be proved in the days to come.

Congress has always remained a party working for the poorer sections, he asserted. The party leaders K Srinivas, Md Ayub Khan, Ch Venkateshwarlu and others were present.
