Unemployed Students JAC demands that the govt release DSC notification

Hanamkonda: The Telangana Unemployed Students Joint Action Committee (TSVNJAC) chairman Koturi Manavatha Roy has demanded the State government to release DSC notification for filling up vacant government teacher posts.

In support of the demand, the JAC will organize a massive ‘Padayatra’ from Kakatiya University to Osmania University on September 5, marking the Teachers’ Day. The government must release the notification before September 5, he said.

Speaking to presspersons at Kakatiya University in Hanamkonda on Thursday, he said there were nearly 45,000 teacher posts were vacant in the State. The DSC notification was not released for the past five years as a result huge numbers of unemployed youth were under distress.

Many unemployed have even committed suicide unable to bear the stress caused by unemployment in the delay in issuing the DSC notification. Yet the TRS government led by the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, is not responding positively, Roy complained.

He wanted the government to ensure that the job notification to be issued should not get caught in legal hurdles. If the government failed to release the notification at the earliest, it would face the wrath of the youth, he warned.

D Ed Students Association state president R Rammohan Reddy, JAC district chairman A Karthik, Kakatiya University Research Scholars Association (KURSA) M Sambasiva Rao, Rahul Reddy, S Prashanth, OU NSUI leaders Maskapuram Naresh, the JAC OU chairman B Lachi Reddy its leaders L Srinivas, D Raju and others were present.
