Sultanabad: The village and mandal-level coordinators of Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) have demanded the government for a hike in their honorariums and for job security. They registered their protest here on Wednesday by wearing black badges.
They demanded honorariums of Rs 10,000 per month and Rs 20,000 per month for VCOs and MCOs respectively. MCO A Karunakar, VCOs Jana Lakshman, Padma, Sri Latha, Anita, Swaroopa, Lakshmi, Narsaiah, Shankar, Kistaiah, Rajender and Vinod were present.
