Speaking at the dharna, the district secretary of United Warangal district DSU unit Avinash alleged that the principal of the college and the officials of Social Welfare Department are behaving negligently without providing the basic facilities in the college and are threatening the students of suspension if they go against them.

Rama, the district general secretary of Chaitanya Women Society, said that the college is situated on the outskirts of the city and no measures were taken for the safety of the students studying in the college. Moreover, there are no basic facilities in the college.

The students are facing problem without toilets and there is no water facility in the college. It is the responsibility of the government to provide all facilities in the college along with proper security to the girl students, she pointed.

She demanded the government shifting of the college to old campus in Warangal or make all arrangements along with providing necessary basic facilities.

Otherwise, they would intensify their agitation to teach the government a fitting lesson, she warned. DSU representatives J Anil, Amruth Raju, Raj Kumar, Chaitanya Women Society representatives Bhagya and Sanskruti were present along with others.
