Karimnagar: The State government has introduced ‘Land Survey Scheme’ to sort out land issues. As part of that, the government is forming ‘Farmer Coordination Committee’ (FCC) across the State to solve 100 per cent land issues, Finance Minister Eatala Rajender stated.

Speaking at a press meet at Roads and Buildings guest house here on Sunday, the Minister said that the government is introducing several welfare schemes and projects for the betterment of the people and is implementing them perfectly across the State giving assurance to the people that the government is striving hard for their development.

He also said that the FCCs that are constituted at village-level will have 15 farmers as members, at mandal and district levels 24 members and at State-level 42 farmers. The committees will be formed before September 9. Only those farmers, who totally depend on cultivation and living in villages will be taken as members, he added.

All the members of the committees will be given training on how to conduct land survey. About 30 to 40 per cent of cases that were registered in many police stations were land issues only. In villages 90 per cent of lands are very clear. There is a problem with only 10 percent of lands, which will be solved once the committees are formed.

Later, the details of lands that were sold and purchased will be entered into the register on the same day when the registration of land is done along with deleting the name of the person, who sold it and entering the name of the person, who purchased it. This will prevent irregularities in land registrations, Eatala added.

MLC Naradasu Lakshman Rao, MLA Gangula Kamalakar, Minority Corporation Chairman Akbar Hussain, City Mayor Ravinder Singh and carporators were present along with others.
