TS Congress party affairs in-charge R C Khuntia says a five-member team will scrutinise voters’ list at booth level

Hyderabad: “KCR Sarkar Ko Hatao...Congress Sarkar Ko Lao,” is the new slogan of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) now.

Addressing the State Congress workers at the one-day training camp here on Saturday, Telangana Congress party affairs in-charge R C Khuntia gave this slogan.

Khuntia asked the party leaders to scrutinise the voters list and expose bogus voters. The party would appoint a five-member team at each polling booth to ensure that there are no bogus voters.

He said he would visit every mandal along with TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader K Jana Reddy and leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir.

Lashing at BJP, Khuntia said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao were pursuing anti-farmer plicies. He condemned the BJP’s propaganda that that Congress means Gandhi family. “The BJP had ignored the fact that P V Narasimha Rao was the prime minister for five years and Manmohan Singh for 10 years. AICC President Sonia Gandhi had declined the Prime Ministership,” he said.

Former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy said both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao were competing with each other in telling “lies”.

He said the Chief Minister had failed to fulfil his promise of distributing three acres of land to landless poor and construct double bedroom houses. Alleging that the RSS was a secret organisation, Jaipal Reddy said the RSS was trying to saffronise the nation Calling Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as “Chota Bhai” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Puducherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy said the publicity of KCR about his achievements did not match with real performance. He said it was surprising that KCR was trying to construct another Secretariat when a huge complex already existed.
