The function was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University and the Guest of Honor Prof R Limbadri, Vice-chairman, Telangana State Council for Higher Education.

The function was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University and the Guest of Honor Prof R Limbadri, Vice-chairman, Telangana State Council for Higher Education.

The College auditorium wore a festive look with students dressed in white who gathered with enthusiasm and excitement to receive their Degree-A Validation of their successful journey through the hallowed grounds of R B V R R Women’s College. 952 U G students and 335 P G students, a total number of 1,289 students belonging to the batches of 2012-2013 to 2015-2016 were awarded their Degrees.

The Graduation Ceremony commenced with the administration of Oath taking by the students.The Chief Guest presented the students with the Certificates. This was followed by an inspiring message given by the Guest of Honor Prof R Limbadri, Vice-chairman, Telangana State Council for Higher Education. He spoke about his association with R B V R R Women’s College and he stressed upon the glorious history of this institution.

He spoke about how the college contributed immensely to the society and Telangana in particular as it happens to be the first women’s college to be started in Telangana region. He applauded the dedication and commitment of the college in catering to the educational needs of the girl students from rural areas.

The, Chief Guest Prof S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University delivered the Graduation Ceremony address. In his motivational speech he congratulated the students who passed out from R B V R R Women’s College.

He observed that in academics more than 52-60 percent of the students were girls. He also congratulated the college on successfully discharging its duty towards the society by empowering the girl child. He stressed that the Colleges should introduce more skill based courses and encourages students to become entrepreneurs.

He said that the students should be enabled to acquire skills and competency levels along with being shaped into good human beings. He conveyed that the onus of building confidence of the students is on the colleges where education should be value based. He advised the students to fulfill the expectations of the parents.
