TDP will sweep 2019 polls, says Maganti

Eluru: MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) expressed confidence that Telugu Desam Party will sweep in the 2019 elections also. He said that people have confidence in the administrative talent of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing the media on Tuesday at his camp office at Ramachandraraopet, he said that the TDP government had fulfilled 80 per cent of its assurances given during the last election campaign. The remaining 20 per cent assurances would also be fulfilled within a year, he added.

He said that the Chief Minister had decided to give unemployment allowance to the unemployed youth and the policy would be ready soon. He called upon the philanthropists to donate liberally to construct bus shelters in the rural areas.

Zilla Parishad Chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju said that within one year another 1,000 KM stretch of cement roads would be constructed in every rural area in the district. The district had created a record by constructing 1,200 KM CC roads in the district. So far 70 villages have been constructed the underground drainage. Within two months, another 30 villages will have the underground drainage.

He said that Nallajerla mandal has been selected to make garbage-free mandal in the district and Divisional Panchayat Officer Chinnarao was appointed as a nodal officer. After implementing the pilot project, the project would be extended to all mandals, he added.
