Warangal: Telangana BJP Mahila Morcha vice-president K Ravali quit the party and submitted her resignation letter to the party chief K Laxman on Sunday.

In a statement on the day, she accused the party of failing to emerge as an alternate to the ruling TRS. She said that she had joined the BJP ten years ago believing in its ideals, but the party was marred with internal differences and that was why quitting the party.

However, the district BJP leaders have noted that Ravali was involved in anti-party activities for some time and a complaint was made against her with the State leadership. She failed to change her ways even after the state leadership cautioned her. It was said that she might join Congress.
