Hanamkonda: Peruka Employees and Professionals Society of India (PEPSI) national president Dr Sangani Malleshwar demanded the government allotment of special reservations in Legislative houses for people belonging to Peruka community. A general body meeting was held with PEPSI representatives under the leadership of K Vijay Kumar here in Arts and Science College auditorium in Hanamkonda on Sunday.

Speaking at the meeting, Malleshwar said everyone should take special efforts for the economic development of people belonging to Peruka community to bring equality and to reduce the huge gap between poor and rich along with lower and upper castes.

The people of Peruka community must strive hard with only one agenda, that is to gain political power in the State by keeping all the flags aside. All communities in the State are seeking reservations in legislative houses, why not the people of Peruka Community? he questioned.

Various programmes would be organised in coming up days for the development of Peruka community people across the State and nation, he informed. Malleshwar urged everyone to strive hard to develop financially.

PEPSI representatives T Siddaiah, Ch Dhanujay, Lakshmi Narayana, A Ravinder, B Veeranna, B Gopi, S Anand, A Naga Raju, G Sathya Narayana, Ch. Prabhakar, S Eshwar Kumar, N Sridhar, A Satish Kumar, K Madhukar, M Venkateshwarlu and S Jagadishwar were present along with others.
