Gita recital by 1,800 people sets a record

Musheerabad: Dr Chinapatla Venkata Chary on Tuesday handed over Telugu Book of Record certificate to Yedlapalli Mohan Rao for organising the Bhagavad gita recitation with 1,800 people at Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam in Nampally.
The Telangana State Legislative Assembly Speaker, S Madhusudhana Chary was chief guest at the programme organised on December 25. He congratulated Yedlapalli Mohan Rao on the occasion. The speaker called upon the youth to develop interest in reciting the holy verses.
Mohan Rao said the intension behind organising the programme is to render divine knowledge to youth. About 3,000 people took part in the programme.
