An additional seating arrangement for 150 passengers is also planned. Members of Suburban Train Travellers Association expressed happiness over the works.
The Association has requested the general manager, SCR to approve an additional platform adjacent to the booking office on the eastern side to accommodate 12 coach MMTS trains, which would be pressed into service shortly.
