DPS day out at Pochampally
The fashion studies students of Delhi Public School, Nacharam were gone for a trip to Pochampally, the weaving village of Telangana as part of their educational tour who were accompanied by their teacher. Â
The fashion studies students of Delhi Public School, Nacharam were gone for a trip to Pochampally, the weaving village of Telangana as part of their educational tour who were accompanied by their teacher. Pochampally is the place where threads and colours find their way into the hands of skillful weavers weaving adorable sarees and dress material. The students had visited the Pochampally Handloom Park which was 60 km away from Hyderabad.
There were separate sections for tying, designing, dying and weaving. The students witnessed various kinds of threads that were served for different purposes. The students reported to have a marvelous erudite and a scholarly experience and were filled with gratitude and contentment to have been taken there.
