The students had performed four types of Yogaasanas that includes ChalanaKriyas, Trikonasanas, Vrikshasana, PadaHastasna in unison. Tejaswini Mangona thrilled the audience with her yoga asanas. Yoga is a 5,000-year-old tradition from India that combines physical, mental and spiritual pursuits to achieve harmony of the body and mind. "Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being.

She adds June 21, which is the summer solstice, as the International Day of Yoga, Narendra Modiji had said: "the date is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and has special significance in many parts of the world.” P K S Madhavanji, the chief guest, highlighted the history of yoga and encouraged students that they are an asset to the nation and motivated them to practice yoga for a healthy lifestyle. M Komariah, Chairman of Delhi Public Schools and Pallavi Model Schools emphasised that the schools are working for the all-round development of the child and importance is given to physical fitness.

Delhi Public Schools & Pallavi group of schools attempted mass four Yoga Asanas with 4139 school children at a stretch on the theme ‘Hum Fit tho India Fit’ in 10 min at Delhi Public School, Nadergul. The attempt was recorded by adjucator from Asia Book of Records as per the detailed guidelines and criteria for conducting the event and awarded the certificate to M Komoraiah Chairman & Principal Jyothi Turaga Delhi Public School.

There were many schools participated on this special occasion that includes Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, Pallavi Model School, Alwal, Pallavi Model School, Boduppal, Pallavi Aware International School, Saroor Nagar, Pallavi International School, Gandipet, Delhi Public School Mahendra Hills, Delhi Public School Nacharam and Delhi Public School Nadergul.
