AIESEC Hyderabad will organise a rally to support AIDS victims and shed light on HIV and AIDS

The Hyderabad chapter of international non-profit organisation AIESEC will be organising the Genesis AIDS Run to spread awareness about HIV and AIDS at Necklace Road on October 18 at 6.30 am.

“Genesis is an annual activity where AIESEC interns from all over the world visit Hyderabad for a few months. During the Genesis programme we take them to visit government schools in and around the city and make the children there aware of various diseases. This year we have come up with the AIDS Run to serve as the perfect ending for the Genesis programme,” said Paul Sidharth, business development manager, AIESEC Hyderabad. People willing to participate can register by visiting the Genesis AIDS Run 2014 Facebook page and pay a registration fee of Rs 100. The proceeds from the run will go to BCARE, an organisation that deals with HIV and AIDS patients.
