Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), in association with Mangamma’s Dr Jagadish Cancer Foundation, will be conducting a free health camp at Musheerabad on Wednesday. The health camp will help in early diagnosis of cancer and heart problems.

Dr Jagadish Goud, consultant cancer specialist and robotic surgeon, and Dr Smitha Reddy, Fellow in gynaec oncology and gynaec cancer specialist, would be advising the people at the medical camp.

“Apart from brining awareness among people about early symptoms of cancer and heart problems, this camp’s objective is to educate them on healthy living habits and diet to decrease the incidences of cancer and heart ailments,” said Dr Jagadish Goud Gajagowni

He added that examinations by Gynaecological Cancer specialist will help detect gynae cancer. Pap smear test will also be done to detect cervical cancer among women at the camp.

As part of this free medical camp, KIMS Hospitals would be offering GRBS (blood, sugar), ECG & 2D-ECHO, blood pressure tests for free. The medical camp would be conducted at the Aiyesha Function Palace, Musheerabad, from 10 am to 3 pm.
