M*Modal, a leading provider of clinical documentation services and speech understanding solutions, inaugurated its new facility in the city on Monday. Inaugurated by BS Sarma, vice president, operations, at Dilsukhnagar, the 150-seat facility is 6,000 square feet big and houses the firm’s transcription workforce along with an advanced training center.

M*Modal, a leading provider of clinical documentation services and speech understanding solutions, inaugurated its new facility in the city on Monday. Inaugurated by BS Sarma, vice president, operations, at Dilsukhnagar, the 150-seat facility is 6,000 square feet big and houses the firm’s transcription workforce along with an advanced training center.
The healthcare IT company has its largest delivery center in Begumpet along with facilities in Kukatpally and Secunderabad, as well as satellite centers in Vijayawada and Vizag. The Dilsukhnagar facility will initially house 100 clinical documentation professionals and M*Modal expects to hire an additional 150 employees for the facility by the end of 2015.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, BS Sarma said, “I am happy to announce the launch of our fourth center in Hyderabad. The decision to open a new facility in Dilsukhnagar is part of our company’s on-going commitment to strengthen our local presence in the cities we operate. The new office offers good infrastructure and an environment for further growth. We are tapping the area’s vast talent pool which will help us to develop and deliver superior services to our customers.”

Also speaking on the occasion, Shaw Rietkerk, SVP, worldwide HDS operations, said, “M*Modal’s expansion in Hyderabad is in line with our strategy to build a robust and flexible global delivery model for our healthcare customers, which include major health networks, hospitals and clinics.” He added that the city has operationally been one of the key locations in India to grow their presence. “I congratulate the team for achieving this milestone,” he exclaimed.
