When God and God’s Gift Enters as Medical Science?

Will God ever fail? The answer would be NEVER and BIG NO. That is how all believers of God would argue. On the contrary, the non-believers would question even the very existence of God. Proving the existence of God and whether God would ever go wrong or God is always right are impossible establish because to the best of human knowledge and understanding, God has never appeared before any man although many have claimed to have seen God through their eternal wisdom and inner vision.

The unfortunate fact is that all those who claimed to have seen God could not help others around them to see the God that they have seen. According to them, everyone has to perform several sadhana, poojas to please the God and do penance if they really want to see God.

So seeing God is not a joke and one must do several poojas and how long and how much is not known. When one could see God means the God has really satisfied with the bhakti (devotion) of the bhakta (devotee). But the same number of poojas or prayers may not be sufficient for another person to see the God. There is no uniform approach or practice to see God; it is God’s wish when to appear before his/her devotee.

It means God will always remain elusive, invisible and un-seeable until and unless one does several performances like fasting, do pooja, chant mantras and become a monk seeking nothing but a glimpse of God.

The big question is how such God who is extremely difficult even to get a glimpse will be so kind and benevolent to save people from suffering?

When such help failed to reach the sufferers, the believers, and missionaries of God have brilliantly defined such situations of people are due to their previous karma which God cannot help. This is because only when people believe in God, these ‘God-men’ and missionaries have a job.

If the previous karma is going to decide and dictate every consequence in our life, then naturally one would wonder why then we need God?

Another curiosity also daunts many people is that what wrong or right karma in the previous birth they have committed so that the same mistakes or sins that can be avoided in the present birth to save the future birth. But unfortunately, neither God nor any ‘God-men’ are there to answer or help people in this regard.

The question of God would ever fail or not is difficult establish but we have enough and more evidence to say the God’s gift, the Ayurveda and Siddha has certainly failed to solve the multitude of human health problems. Ironically these practices are promoted as drug and cure based system of medicine.

Which disease these systems can really cure, which product of AYUSH would meet the global definition of drug, how to understand, measure and establish Tridosha concept, which diagnostic procedure of Siddha and Ayurveda are practical and useable today, how relevant and meaningful is the disease descriptions of these systems….all remains mystery to science and scientists all over the world.

Was God unwillingly gifted these systems of medicine to humanity, therefore, he has not transferred the complete knowledge of the sacred science, therefore, the AYUSH vaidyas could not explain the real science of their gift? Or the inheritors of the system from God could not imbibe the essence fully? If so, how come God has chosen to transfer such sacred medical knowledge to people before empowering them? If AYUSH (Siddha and Ayurveda) were sacred medical science and meant for saving humanity, why until the advent of various vaccines, the mortality rate was so high and people had to die due to various diseases that lack treatment?

If the God has gifted Ayurveda and Siddha to mankind as sacred medical science, why those who have studied such sacred science for 5 ½ years (BSMS or BAMS) or more are secretly and openly engaged in allopathic practice and have to use own sacred science (the gift of God) as burka to protect their cross practice?

Why the God’s gift to humanity has to loose its identity, preference and like from people in India as reflected in the several surveys of NSSO?

Was there any quarrel between Lord Siva and Lord Dhanvathri (incarnation of Lord Vishnu) while imparting Siddha and Ayurveda to people?

Why the fundamental principle of both the systems – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha differ so dramatically between both systems? The Ayurveda believes in Kapha dominance during childhood, Pitta dominance in adults and Vata in old age which is quite contrary to the principle of Siddha that believes in the dominance of Vata during childhood, Pitta in adults and Kapha in old age.

When the fundamental principle of Tridosha is different between Siddha and Ayurveda, how the same and similar herbal preparations can form wonderful drugs to both the systems to treat the same diseases?

Maybe these questions require divine intervention and God himself must answer. The deafening silence in explaining the great science of AYUSH by its proponents about the list of diseases the products of AYUSH will cure, how we can measure Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, how we can understand the imbalance and how they are getting corrected with various ISM products etc., strongly warrant God’s intervention.

Why has God left the promoters and proponents of his wonderful medical science helpless to answer these questions?

Let God tell us the truth as whether having we stretched the religion too far and have defined AYUSH as drug and cure based medical science? Have we overplayed the ‘small remedies’ of several herbal preparations people might have used in the past when nothing was available as ‘drugs’, drug based science, cure centric medical system etc?

Have we over hyped ‘something’ might have been used by people when ‘nothing’ was available as ‘everything’ and that has resulted in utter confusion and disbelief?

Even the food that we eat can cause health problem if we eat indiscriminately. If we follow some restriction in our eating, certainly the food can offer good health. Similarly many substances are worth avoiding to remains healthy. Because of positive or negative health benefits of multi-various substances on earth, if we define all such substances as drugs, then we should not have any health problems and disease burden. In fact, we do not need doctors also.

Today we have messed up AYUSH by defining and promoting it as medical science along side scientifically proven the allopathic system.

Over the years, we have dismally failed to separate, differentiate and define the paramedical practices and products from medical science and drugs. As a result of the above, we have plenty of doctors but still we cry scarcity of doctors and the doctor- patient ratio in India being very low.

It is like “water, water everywhere and no drop to drink”. We have several lakhs of AYUSH doctors and nearly a lakh of AYUSH products as drugs, but no remedy and relief even from many third world diseases.

If we mirror the states that produce a large number of AYUSH vaidyas we can easily understand the health glory due to promoting the paramedical practice as medical science.

To correct the saga and legacy of the error that is happening in the promotion of AYUSH as a medical science due to the religious attachment and patriotic tag that AYUSH enjoys today, God himself must come down and speak the truth that AYUSH is only paramedical practice and not medical science.
