Another name of cross pathy is social and moral obligation – Wah! AYUSH vaidya
Some institutionally qualified AYUSH vaidyas in private practice have hatched out a wonderful definition for cross pathy, definitely they might have done an exhaustive research and brain storming to come up with such definition.
Some institutionally qualified AYUSH vaidyas in private practice have hatched out a wonderful definition for cross pathy, definitely they might have done an exhaustive research and brain storming to come up with such definition.
The new definition is that ‘only due to their social and moral obligation to provide best and effective treatment to the patients, the institutionally qualified AYUSH vaidyas in private practice engage in cross pathy. Is this definition legally tenable?
People would graduate from AYUSH by studying the unscientific Tridosha concept, its impractical and uselessness application, the unique and unusable disease definitions, finally the in-effective products of AYUSH and then become AYUSH vaidya with the modern title - Doctor. Since they have nothing useful from own system, migrate, breach and trespass to allopathic system and would justify such illegal acts by citing their great social and moral obligations to patients!
The big question is that what is the social and moral obligation of the system - AYUSH that is promoted by our Government as system of medicine?
Does that not confirm the truth, AYUSH vaidyas cannot fulfill their social and moral obligations from own system from which they have graduated after 5 ½ years or more, asked Dr Abbas, MD- Siddha?
Then why we promote such system as medical science and why we produce graduates from such system as doctor?
When we requested to some Siddha vaidyas to name at least a single AYUSH drug which has proven curative benefit, the name of the disease for which it will work and the duration of treatment required to get such benefit. They were unwilling even face such questions, let alone have an answer.
Siddha vaidyas in private practice cannot afford to say they do not have antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial drug from Siddha system.
Studies from National Institute of Siddha, Chennai and CCRS have proven the antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory, antiviral effects and ….….what not! of Nilavambu kudineer and according to the study, Nilavembu kudineer is as effective as Acetaminophen, Indometacin and Aspirin.
It means, Nilavembu kudineer has multiple therapeutic benefits, which is as effective as the most potent three allopathic drugs, although some of the allopathic drugs may not be in use these days.
Can the modern science gift any such wonderful single drug with multiple therapeutic benefits like Nilavembu kudineer of Siddha system? The doubt is that why the Siddha vaidyas when speak high about Nilavembu kudineer secretly engage in cross pathy?
The big question is why some Siddha vaidyas in private practice are still after cross pathy than using own miracle drug – Nilavembu kidinener?
Does that mean Nilavembu is just a hoax not science?
Another big question is that can’t Siddha vaidyas in private practice fulfill their social and moral obligations to their patients with Nilavembu kudineer. Above all, Nilavembu is claimed to be absolutely safe, it has preventive, promotive and curative benefits along with immune boosting property.
Unfortunately the medical dictionary has limited words and adjectives for the Siddha system to use to worship nilavembu kudineer and hence could not add more treatment benefits to Nilavembu kudineer.
The question before our nation is why we let AYUSH to continue as a system of medicine and its vaidyas as doctor to fulfill their social and moral obligations through cross pathy and with the help of allopathic drugs?
Does this situation not raise another big doubt about the role and relevance of National Institute of Siddha (NIS) and many AYUSH hospitals that offer exclusive AYUSH therapy?
All the thousands and thousands of patients who visit NIS etc., are receiving only Siddha products and Siddha treatment? How then the NIS fulfills its social and moral obligation without allopathic drugs and not being engaged in cross pathy?
Then shouldn’t we also respect some chemists shops dispensing drugs to patients without the prescription of a doctor as that also would fall under ‘the definition’ of fulfilling social and moral responsibility. If a thief steals the money and cite the family obligation as reason for the above act, should we not accept such logic and justification?
What on earth would not fall under the justification of social or moral responsibility?
The question must be answered not by the practicing AYUSH vaidyas but by the Government headed by our beloved Modiji.
It has come in public domain recently that we have one doctor for 893 patients. This statistics look higher than the ratio envisaged by WHO. Then why we have so much of disease burden in our country? Why even the most primitive diseases like impetigo, scabies, amoebic diarrhea, helminth infections, intestinal worm infections etc., are so common in rural India?
Our nation should ask not just the above questions but also must find the answer from within i.e., how may of our doctors are ‘scientifically’ qualified to be called doctor out of the 893 doctors as told by Honorable Secretary of AYUSH to parliament.
More than 50% of doctors are from AYUSH? AYUSH is not a medical system but we are promoting it as medical science. Only because of this open truth, many AYUSH vaidyas in private practice cite social and moral obligations to engage in cross pathy.
Why we promote such shallow, unscientific, irrelevant AYUSH as medical science and instead why we should not promote AYUSH as paramedical system?
Why we waste our resource from exchequer to support AYUSH as medical science. Government should not fund research in AYUSH because none of such researches are going to bring any useful results to our nation. Such efforts will not just wasting our resource.
Primary level health care is most important and critical for any country to remain healthy. Therefore primary health care must be through proven and scientific system and not through unscientific AYUSH.
When we look at the doctor-patient ration of 1:893 which is far above the WHO recommendation, why still we lag behind in our health care deliveries? Why the states that produce large number of AYUSH vaidyas fare poor in health care delivery?
Should we not ask such question to our consciousness?
AYUSH has brought out a public notice recently and which states that all metal based AYUSH products must have clear warning that it contains metals.
In the same notification also shows that all toxic metals are not considered as poisonous by Siddha system but Ayurveda consider them as poisonous. That means, Siddha products with metals need not serve any such warning because the system does not consider heavy metals to be poisonous. How this contradiction the Ministry of AYUSH would explain?
Cross pathy must ended and AYUSH should be promoted as paramedical service and only through that approach we can pay tribute to AYUSH and people.
