Clove Dental expands presence in Chennai

- Launches Avant Garde dental clinics at Shanthi Colony & West Mambalam
- Offers international standard dental care through 8 clinics across the city

Chennai: Clove Dental, a Dental Chain promoted by Global Dental Services, is on a major expansion drive in Chennai. The company has recently unveiled two multi-specialty dental clinics at Shanthi Colony and West Mangalam. With these launches Clove Dental becomes the largest Dental Clinic Chain in Chennai offering international standard Dental Care through eight clinics in the city.

Clove Dental is the largest Dental Care Chain in India with 160+ clinics across 11 states. For the subsequent phase, Clove has set an ambitious target to launch 200 clinics in the next 2 years in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. 600 clinics will be launched over next 4 – 5 years nationally and to this end the company plans to add 10-12 clinics every month for the next few years. The company has so far made an investment of $25M and plans to invest another $25-30M till they reach the 600-clinic target.

According to Ken Research, the India dental care services market will register double digit growth rate and will reach over INR 14,700 crore by FY’2020 due to growth in the number of dental chains which would expand the share of organized dental clinics in the country. Research Analyst at Ken Research suggests that the domestic players need to focus on effective marketing strategies and should provide attractive discounts to customers via loyalty points or exclusive discounts.
