The animal protection movement in India is growing in a consistent manner but remains mostly un-organized, marked by a grave need for information, education and skill development in the sector. Keeping this need in mind, Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisation is hosting India for Animals conference-2018 in the city from October 26 to 28 at Leonia Holistic Resort, Bommaraspet, Shameerpet between 11 am and 5 pm.

India for Animals Conference is India’s premier animal protection event and aims to build a connection between activists and organisations to create a more informed animal protection movement in the country. The 5th edition of the conference will witness attendance from 350 to 400 organisations and activists and will have resourceful discussions, panels and small-group breakouts where delegates can share and collaborate on innovative methods and strategies to protect animals. Varda Mehrotra, Executive Director, FIAPO said, “It is wonderful to see so many people come together under one roof.

The purpose of Indian for Animals conference is to provide a unique opportunity to hundreds of grassroots activists, practitioners and philanthropists from across the country to share experiences and learn from India’s experts in the animal protection movement.” India for Animal also will felicitate some outstanding individuals and organisations who have made exemplary contributions to the animal protection movement in India during the years 2017 and 2018.
