CIGGO lauds the actions of SCB CEO

Citizens of Good Governance (CIGGO), a voluntary organisation headed by M Chandrasekhar, consists of a group of like-minded individuals with no political ambitions. They have a dedicated vision to encourage leadership activities among public officials and politicians, to deliver honest, expedient service to the public.

They fight against corruption, bribery, hooliganism, illegal acquisition, radicalism, delayed judicial adjudication that encourages further illegal activity, official incompetence, ineptitude that deprives citizens the services that are they’re entitled to. The organisation intends to use oppose via democratic protest, to prompt actions towards deliverance of good governance.

M Chandrasekhar said, “As a part of our social responsibility and for the deliverance of good governance, some of our members went to office of the SCB and met with Sujatha Gupta, chief executive officer on Tuesday and congratulated her for having taken swift and bold action to restore the Defence Estate and Military lands from the jaws of the land sharks (HORs). These people had turned the place into a paradise for illegal commercial activity; spinning money in crores.

“Many of these are kabzadars, who have taken bribes, have political influence, along with lax enforcement by previous administrators, all of which has prompted them into minting money unlawfully. Some of them have gone to courts, filed petitions with MOD Pune and are enjoying the properties, knowing that courts don't give decisions in fast track mode due to their own judiciary laws and procedures and the matter will be subjudice for years together.”
