EAMCET Date Likely To Be Finalised Today. The state Higher Education Council (APSCHE) will hold a high level meeting on Thursday to discuss and finalize the dates of all Common Entrance Tests (CET) including the all important Engineering Agricultural Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) scheduled next year.

Though there are indications that the EAMCET will be held in the second week of May- like last year-, top sources said since the general and assembly elections are scheduled during that time, there may be clash of dates and centres. “Since the announcement of Elections schedule will be only after a month or so, we cannot wait till that time. We have to go ahead with our schedule and may have to think again after the election schedule is out” a top official told The Hans India.
According to sources, May 10 which was the second Saturday and May 11- Sunday are the dates, the Council has been seriously considering. “Since we have to complete the process of counseling and admissions by July 31 as per the Supreme Court deadline, second week of May is the only option to conduct the exam” sources explained.
