Citizen Service Centres to remain open on weekends

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar informed that the Citizen Service Centres in all circle offices of GHMC will remain open from 8 am-8 pm on all weekends in April to aid citizens in paying the property tax. Even Mee Seva centres will also be opened from 8 am to 8 pm.

The State Government has issued orders stating that a rebate of 5 per cent property tax would be given in respect of assessments where property tax for the entire current financial year is paid before April 30. Accordingly, the GHMC has introduced the property tax early bird scheme for the benefit of tax payers.
