The University of Hyderabad paid its tributes to the father of the Indian constitution Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 124th birth anniversary on Tuesday. Vice-Chancellor Prof E Haribabu, Prof G Nancharaiah, Dean-school of social sciences, staff, faculty members and students gathered for the celebration.
Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad paid its tributes to the father of the Indian constitution Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 124th birth anniversary on Tuesday. Vice-Chancellor Prof E Haribabu, Prof G Nancharaiah, Dean-school of social sciences, staff, faculty members and students gathered for the celebration.
Speaking on the occasion, Haribabu said, "Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar lives in the hearts of and minds of Indians. His life is characterised by unmatched determination and a firm commitment towards social justice. He was a successful lawyer, Visionary, scholar, writer and intellectual who served the nation and the people selflessly."
