Hyderabad: The fifth edition of Oakridge Model United Nations Sessions (OAKMUN) started on Friday at Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) in Gachibowli.
More than 600 student delegates from reputed schools and colleges across India are participating in this prestigious three-day MUN session being hosted by Oakridge International School, Gachibowli campus.
Hon. Counsel General of US Consulate in Hyderabad, Michael Mullins was the chief guest of the occasion. Addressing the event, Mullins said,
“I am impressed with the energy and dedication of the youth delegates attending OAKMUN, and their ability to suggest solutions to various problems faced by the world.”
Hyderabad: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) launched its second edition of Model United Nations (MUN)-2015 on Friday.
Students from different parts of the country gathered at the event to share their views and also enhance their skills on International issues.
Dr Chandra Mohan Reddy, Principal of MGIT, Prof Raji Reddy have attended the inaugural ceremony of MGIT MUN-2015 as chief guest and guest of honour,
respectively. Dr Chandra Mohan Reddy expressed that MGIT MUN'2K15 is marked by the 70th year of institution of UN council with the optimistic feeling towards India in their efforts to become a permanent member in United Nations Organisation (UNO).
