ICFAI observes Constitution Day
As part of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad celebrated ‘Constitution Day’ on 26th November at its Campus. Prof P Sri krishna Deva Rao, Vice Chancellor, Orissa National Law University, Cuttack, attended the event as Guest of Honour.
Hyderabad: As part of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad celebrated ‘Constitution Day’ on 26th November at its Campus. Prof P Sri krishna Deva Rao, Vice Chancellor, Orissa National Law University, Cuttack, attended the event as Guest of Honour.
Addressing the students Prof P Sri Krishna Deva Rao said, “All the students should know about the constitution as the preamble is the key to know the minds of the framers of the constitution”. He also explained the goals and aspirations of the framers of the constitution.
He further said importance of the preamble is not only of constitution but of any statute and encouraged the students to read and interpret preamble and reasons and statements of objects of every statute. The students of Advogado Club of ICFAI Law School, conducted an awareness programme on 26.11.2015 at Zilla Parishad High School, Proddatur, Shankarpally, RR District, Telangana State.
The students and faculty interacted with the Headmaster, Sarpanch an alumnus of the same school and students of class 8th, 9th and 10th standard, followed by explaining the significance of Constitution Day in India and more specifically the preamble.
