The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) on Wednesday organised a two-day national level conference on “Wireless Communication Systems” - NCWCS 2016.  Dr Venugopal KR, Special Officer, Govt. of Karnataka and Principal of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore inaugurated the conference.

Hyderabad: The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) on Wednesday organised a two-day national level conference on “Wireless Communication Systems” - NCWCS 2016. Dr Venugopal KR, Special Officer, Govt. of Karnataka and Principal of University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore inaugurated the conference.

In his inaugural address, the chief guest stressed the importance of wireless communication across the world. He pointed out that every aspect and issue has their link to wireless network. Every individual is connected to the global village and history in the field of wireless communications has been created since the innovation of Radio to 4G technology.

He also pointed out that research in the field has provided much employable opportunities across the world. He asked the students to enhance their command and skills on the field and be updated in all aspects. This programme is financially supported by Department of Science & Technology (DST),
Research Board, New Delhi. Prof Lalith Kumar, Prof A Komala Devi acted as judges for panel sessions.

More than 100 faculty and students from various colleges across the country participated in this programme. Principal Dr C Yuvaraj, HOD - ECE Dr AR Reddy, Convener of the Programme Dr Thamarai, students and faculty participated in this event.
