In the midst of isolated rains that crippled traffic and exhausted the city over the weekend, Hyderabad Comic Con’s ‘Superhero Speed Dating Cosplay Party’ was a welcome relief to many. The party was organised in partnership with TrulyMadly at Hoppipola.
Superhero Speed Dating Cosplay party ushers in Comic Con mania
In the midst of isolated rains that crippled traffic and exhausted the city over the weekend, Hyderabad Comic Con’s ‘Superhero Speed Dating Cosplay Party’ was a welcome relief to many. The party was organised in partnership with TrulyMadly at Hoppipola.
Fans dressed up in their favourite characters from the superhero, pop culture, gaming and comic book universe. The excitement was awarded with free drinks for people with impeccable cosplay. Upto 200 people attended the event and 20 couples took part in pop quiz activities.
Commenting about the event, organiser Sonal said, “For the first time in Hyderabad, Comic Con organised a party of this kind. We are happy with the response. People are excited for the main event.”
While most people enjoyed the merry atmosphere, Sonu (employee at Hoppipola) said in retrospect, “Sure, the main event will be exciting. But, it would be much better if they launch some cool new trailers and first looks in India, like they did at the San Diego Comic Con.”
