In a first, Comic Con India organised a free three-hour ‘Gaming Extravaganza’ at Smaaash Arcade in Hitec City. The event, which was a warm up for gamers before the Hyderabad Comic Con, had upto 150 gaming enthusiasts enjoying the likes of ‘X2motor’, ‘Monster Bash’, ‘Car and Bike Racing’ and other Virtual Reality Games.

Both children and adults were seen revelling in the joy of playing their favourite games. A participant, Abhinav, said, “The event was very interesting. My friends and I played a lot of games and had real fun.” In particular, fans enjoyed the fact the Comic Con conducted the event over the weekend. “Most of us usually get an off on either Saturday on Sunday. So, this is great for us! I’m excited for the main event, so that I can meet superheroes,” said another participant..
