First standalone CustomFurnish store launched
The customised furniture e-tailor ‘CustomFurnish.com’ opened its first standalone store in Kondapur as part of the ‘Experience Store’ plan of the company.
The customised furniture e-tailor ‘CustomFurnish.com’ opened its first standalone store in Kondapur as part of the ‘Experience Store’ plan of the company. The omni-channel company plans to ramp up the ‘Experience Stores’ in Bengaluru, Chennai, Nagpur and Pune in the current financial year.
Speaking about the plans, Dr Madhukar Gangadi, Founder & CEO, CustomFurnish said, “We have been witnessing a large interest for our products from consumers across the country. Now, we realise the need for an ‘Experience Store’, which will not only empower the consumers on the quality finish of our extensive range of products but also help them in taking the smartest decisions on their furniture buying.
“We are planning to set up 30 such stores in the current financial year and will take store count to 100 in the next couple of years,” he said. Spread across 1.5 lakh sq ft, the fully integrated manufacturing unit at Hyderabad can churn out 1,000 sofas and 500 solid wood units (dining table, center table, office furniture, display units) per month.
