The curtain raiser of ‘Legend Navratri Utsav 2016’ was night of dance and fun at Imperial’s Excellency Garden in Kompally. A troupe of dancers, specialising in garbha and dandiya set the stage on fire with their moves.
Members of the Gujarati community, dressed in traditionally rich attire, participated in huge numbers and joined the dancers with their dandiya sticks. The organisers, Pratap Jadeja and Sanjay Jain also took part in the celebration. The gala event will host the ‘Mr and Mrs Gujarati’ pageant as well and is on until October 10.
