Sameer stars in DPS win

A sensational spell by Sameer Baba, who scalped six batsmen while conceding a measly two runs, helped Delhi Public School crush Hillside School by ten wickets in their Group ‘A’ match of the VVS Cup Under-14 Inter-school cricket tournament.

Opting to bat, Hillside was in trouble from the start of the innings and folded up after making 67, a target the eventual winner achieved without losing a wicket.

Brief scores: Hillside School 67 (Aryan 19, Sameer Baba 6/22) lost to Delhi Public School 70 for no loss (Shashank Lokesh 34no, Ayush 23); Johnson Grammar School 67 (Lavonn 34, Zafar 2/15) lost to All Saints School 71 for one wicket (Zafar 33no, Adnan 25).
