India’s youngest calendar girl is from city!

In a remarkable achievement, city-based six-year-old Sonakshi Tiwari has become the first child from the country to be featured on the ‘India Cutest Kids Calendar 2017’.
Sonakshi’s photo in the calendar is based on the poster of Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji’s movie ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’.
The youngster, a student of DRS International Edify Kids Global School at Shah-Ali-Banda in the Old City is all excited about her achievement, which she bagged by competing with more than 4,000 children from 50 cities across India.
The calendar, photographed by Bollywood lensman Munna S, was released in Mumbai at a star-studded event.
Sonakshi’s father Rudrendra Prashad Tiwari and mother Komal Tiwari shared their excitement on Monday.
“Seeing Sonakshi’s audition photos continuously rolling at the background screen during the launch event was very exciting for us,” said her father.
