The city officially kicked off EDM Godfather’s Sunburn Arena Tour at Hitex in Hitec City over the weekend.
With more than 10,000 fans in attendance for his debut tour, the gig saw celebrities like Alu Arjun, Rakulpreet, Poonam Kaur, Nitin in attendance. Guetta stormed the stage and wished all the fans a ‘Happy New Year’. Owing to Sankrati fans were quick to raise their ‘David Guetta’ autographed kites.
Speaking about the event, Guetta stated, “It was an amazing experience performing in Hyderabad. I loved how the city came out in full support for my show. It’s amazing how things work differently in different cities.”
Organiser Vinay Hedge, Voila Events said, “We received a phenomenal response from the tour. We thank the authorities for their unrelenting support in ensuring the gig was a massive success. Hyderabad is definitely the next big EDM destination.”
