Journalist, author and politician delivered a talk ‘Two Saints’ at HLF on Saturday. The veteran is also writing a book based on the two saints Ramana Maharshi and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and it showcases the mystical experiences of the Indian saints.

In the session, he said, “Ramana Maharshi and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa are the two great saints of India. In my new book, which will come soon, is about the mystical experiences of the Indian saints.

I did two years of research about Neuro Science and I came to know that we never learn anything about mystic experiences from Neuroscience. My book has the various lessons from the life of these two great saints,” Arun Shourie said.

“Ramana Maharshi used to read all journals which were written by Mahatma Gandhi. He acquired great knowledge through Sadhana (Yoga Nidra). Ramana Maharshi guided many youngsters to achieve their goals.

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa guided Swami Vivekananda very well. When Ramakrishna Paramahamsa meditated a young person came out of his body and travelled around his surroundings,” he added.

Sharing his views on latest technology ‘Artificial Intelligence’, Arun said “Today artificial intelligence is improving by many folds. We should wait and watch how it impacts human life.”
