On advances in Implantable Hearing Solutions
The National Seminar on Implantable Hearing Solutions (NSIHS) 2017 was held at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences in Jubilee Hills recently. Present on the occasion were Dr EC Vinay Kumar, Organising Chairman and Dr K Rambabu, Organising Secretary, NSIHS.
The National Seminar on Implantable Hearing Solutions (NSIHS) 2017 was held at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences in Jubilee Hills recently. Present on the occasion were Dr EC Vinay Kumar, Organising Chairman and Dr K Rambabu, Organising Secretary, NSIHS.
The seminar is a joint programme by Apollo Hospitals, Apollo Cochlear Implant Clinic, Apollo Institute of Medial Sciences & Research (AIMSR) and SAHI (Society to Aid the Hearing Impaired).
The event served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge on basics to advances in Implantable hearing solutions for over 200 ENT Surgeons, Audiologists and Habilitationists from across India.
The sessions included Live CI surgeries, introductory workshops on cochlear implants, surgical techniques, new criteria and information on handling difficult cases, Hands on sessions on Mapping, Rehabilitation and other implantable hearing systems (ABI, BAHA, Vibrant Sound Bridge).
Some of the renowned national faculty addressing the delegates included Dr Mohan Kameswaram, Dr MP Manoj, Dr.John Mathew, Dr Gunesh Raja, Madhuri Gore, Rajesh Patadia, Hris Roca and Jaspal.
