Students deliberate on global issues

Members of the Hyderabad Youth Assembly (HYA) conducted an ‘assembly session’ as part of tackling socioeconomic concerns on Sunday. In this regard Director & Commissioner of Municipal Administration Department, Dr TK Sreedevi was present to oversee the students, who gave their view on the topics.

This included issues like Zero Hunger- Urban Farming concept, wherein people can have a small portion of land in the backyard of their homes dedicated to farming, to grow vegetables in an economical convenient manner; Quality Education- Learning opportunities for the mentally/physically differently abled, especially autistic patients; clean water and sanitation- Chemical water purification kits to villagers that consist of sodium hypo chloride solution (NaO Cl) and Decent work and economic growth-Empowering widows with equal opportunities and skill sets for sustainable economic growth, in terms of an occupation.
