Glorious alumni of OU Engineering College
The College has a history of churning out hugely successful engineers, who have won accolades across the seven seas, year after year.
‘Awakened’ by the clarion call given by the country’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharal Nehru and Vice-President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, to swear by the roots, S Ramkishen Rao responded pronto and returned from Chicago where he worked for industry giant Harza Engineering Company.
Rao had gone to the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign after graduating in Engineering from Osmania University in Urdu medium in 1951. As one looks back into the glorious 100 years, Ramkishen Rao emerges as but one shining example of scores of alumni of the internationally acclaimed University College of Engineering, Osmania University.
The College has a history of churning out hugely successful engineers, who have won accolades across the seven seas, year after year. Credit should go to not only the qualitative faculty but also to the alumni that put the mentorship into practicalities of the highest standards and brought the alma mater the finest of exemplary recognitions at every global forum.
