The six-day-long Mahasivaratri Brahmotsavalu and Maharudra Yagam of Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Devasthanam, Keesaragutta, in Medchal mandal of Malkajgiri district, began on a grand scale on Wednesday.

Thatakam Venkatesh Sarma, founder-trustee and chairman and Tankasala Venkatesh, EO said that the celebrations would conclude on February 27.

They stated that daily programmes would include Subrabataseva at 5 am, Mahanyasa Purvaka Rudrabishekam, Maha Harathi, 5.30am to 6am, Abishekams, Archana, Mahanivedana, 12.45pm to 1 pm, Archana, Abishekam 3pm to 7 pm, Nivedana, Mantra Pushpam, Pavalimpu Seva 7pm to 7.30 pm. There would be Veda Parayanam, Sivapanchakshari, Srisukta, Durgasukta, Manyusuktadi Parayanam everyday.

Sarma and Venkatesh appealed to the devotees to cooperate with the devasthanam so as to ensure that all pujas and other rituals are performed to the satisfaction of every visitor.
