The play starts with the murder which occurs in the time of demonetisation. Some innocent people are implicated. So, it needs to be solved. But we live in a time where everything needs to fall in a category. We are so habituated to it that if we can’t categorise something, it poses a threat to us.

The play starts with the murder which occurs in the time of demonetisation. Some innocent people are implicated. So, it needs to be solved. But we live in a time where everything needs to fall in a category. We are so habituated to it that if we can’t categorise something, it poses a threat to us.

A threat that needs to be taken care of immediately. Gender is such a category. The society assigns you a role and you have to play it. The system shuns everyone who refuses to be categorised but allows corruption to flourish.

This production attempts to bring the elements of thriller genre of popular cinema on to the stage. The aim was to conceive a play that plays with clichés and surfaces to reveal some complexities that refuse easy answers.

Anirban Deb Sharma worked on the sets, Bhaskar Sharma wrote the script, Chirag Khandelwal wrote the play, Maneesh Pachiaru arranged music, Pallavi Banothu choreographed the dances, Rajashekar Kavali and Veeraswamy Kolkapanga added to the sets while Sarvani Varlicharla, Vikas Vempalli and Ranjan Kumar enacted important roles as Surajit Maity designed the lighting. The production manager was Esunath Rathod with overall guidance from Rajiv Velicheti.
