Ensuring superior quality of life
St. Francis College for women, Begumpet, organised two-day conference on “Developing a Culture of Quality: Implementing & Sustaining Approaches to Quality in Higher Education” over the weekend.
St. Francis College for women, Begumpet, organised two-day conference on “Developing a Culture of Quality: Implementing & Sustaining Approaches to Quality in Higher Education” over the weekend. The conference was inaugurated by Prof Virander S Chouhan, Chairman, Executive Committee NAAC, Dr Christine Frenandes, Principal and Margret Francis, IQAC coordinator.
In his keynote address Prof Chouhan led the delegates to reflect on the topic of the conference, education which gives quality of life on an individual and quality in education to do the same. He also said that the massive growth in the field of education has started since 2005 and will continue if the quality improving measures are properly implemented by stakeholders in this filed.
Later, Dr Narendranath Menon, Professor from Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, Dr Saroja, Head-dept. of Library and Information Sciences, Dr BR Ambedkar Open University, Dr Purushotam Reddy, Environmentalist, Prof J Mathew George, Principal St Mary’s College addressed the delegates on enhancing the quality in higher education.
