Women don’t shy away from challenges and that is exactly what Ambica Nagubandi did when her dream of providing quality education to young children faced a major hurdle parents preferring mainstream schools to preschools for education. However, this lack of awareness about the impact that pre-schooling has on young minds did not prevent her from undertaking the journey of creating awareness.

Born to a business family, Ambica worked as a physiotherapist at a private hospital. However soon she realized that she was meant to be an entrepreneur. Her skill and her passion for quality learning brought her to EuroKids in 2009 when she started operating EuroKids preschool at Dilsukhnagar.

However, she faced a major hurdle as most parents in the neighbourhood were driven towards mainstream schools and were ignorant about importance of early childhood care and education. “My dream is to make EuroKids the first choice of every parent in Dilsukhnagar and in adjoining areas” says Ambica, adding that she strives relentlessly to turn her dream into reality.

Her collaboration with EuroKids has immensely contributed to her understanding of franchise business especially in the preschool space. Overtime she turned the tide in her favour with more parents coming forward to enroll their kids at the preschool. Owing to her relentless efforts, Ambica has managed to make EuroKids preschool at Dilsukhnagar one of the most popular preschools in the neighbourhood.

“Women must persevere to make their dreams come true and must have courage to deal with obstacles coming their way. I am thankful to EuroKids in supporting me in this endeavour and bringing it to fruition,” says Ambica, who been repeatedly awarded by EuroKids for her excellent entrepreneurship. EuroKids network of pre-schools has enabled more than 900 entrepreneurs to build a long term successful business, 80 per cent of who are women.
