Art by women

State Art Gallery celebrated International Women’s Day by conducting an painting exhibition by group of 50 women artists and also Tanjore Painting Exhibition which are done in Tanjore workshop, which was conducted recently at the gallery.

Around l 70 paintings displayed at the exhibition and it was inaugurated by S Vani Devi, principal, SV College of Fine Arts and Amita Desai, director, Goethe-Zentrum, on Tuesday in the presence Dr K Lakshmi, Director, State Gallery of Art and Artists.
