SBH dedicates day to women employees

International Women’s Day Celebrations was conducted at State Bank of Hyderabad, Staff College, Secunderabad, in the presence of Top Management Committee members along with their spouses, dignitaries and women employees/ officers from the twin cities in an enthusiastic manner.

Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman, State Bank of India, addressed the participants, through video message on the occasion and mentioned the relentless services and contribution of women to the society. She also informed the various initiatives brought in by SBI, for women employees like sabbatical Leave, Work from Home etc.

Mani Palvesan, Managing Director, addressed the gathering and spoke on role of women in brought up of every human being and imparting the values and empowerment of women. He also highlighted the achievements and contributions to the Society, by various Women Personalities like Indra Nooyi.

Hannah Rachael Mani, W/o Shri Mani Palvesan, Managing Director, SBH, spoke on multi tasking, happy living by women an importance of the same in the present scenario. Dr G Swathi Kumari, Professor, Osmania University, addressed the gathering on the occasion and spoke on women empowerment. Major Poonam Sharma, Deputy Manager, Security Dept., made awareness on importance of Self Defence and has given demonstration on various self defence tricks.The programme concluded with extracurricular activities and games.
