Andhra Bank celebrated International Women's Day at its head office in the city recently in which Sudha Koka, Additional Commissioner, Customs & Central Excise addressed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that women should ensure to make their work place work for them. She advised them not to stop at entry level of their organisation and aim to reach top level in the career. To achieve this, she said that women should engage themselves continuously, without rejecting promotions.

Andhra Bank Executive Director SK Kalra said, “To aim for a better society, we need to really empower the women so that disparity will go very soon.” Andhra Bank General Managers, V B Bhagavathi, R Mallikharjuna, M N Sudhakar, Ashwani Mittal, PVSTR Seshagiri Rao, V Satyanarayana Murthy, Y Amarnath and the staff also participated.
