Fun and games mark the day for ASCI women
Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) faculty, employees and staff celebrated the International Women\'s Day at Bella Vista campus in Raj Bhavan Road on Wednesday.
Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) faculty, employees and staff celebrated the International Women's Day at Bella Vista campus in Raj Bhavan Road on Wednesday.
Prof. Sutanuka Dev Roy, Chairperson, Gender Committee, ASCI and her team conducted various competitions that include quiz, Rangoli, Lemon and Spoon race, musical chairs and running race as part of the celebrations.
"About 100 employees and faculty members got together in the sprawling laws in Bella Vista and took part in the celebrations with the true spirit of the Day," Prof. Sutanuka said.
Senior most faculty member Prof. Nirmala Apsingikar and her colleague Dr Shahaida gave away prizes to the winners and runners. Sutanuka said that a health camp for women and adolescent girls would be organised for the ASCI community on March 9 (Thursday).
A team of doctors led by Dr M Tripura Sundari, Chief Consultant, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, from KIMS will be conducting the camp, which will be inaugurated by the Director-General RH Khwaja at 10.30 am.
